Made with Love. Made to Last.

  • Our Process.

At Wolf Workshop we accept a small number of commissions each year, alongside the production of our own inhouse design collection.

Commissioning a piece of furniture may sound extravagant, and it likely not the cheapest option, but for those fortunate enough to commission a piece it is a magical experience.

A commissioned piece allows very detail to be meaningful and truly personalised. You become part of that furniture pieces story, as it becomes part of your life, an heirloom to treasure and pass on through you family.

  • Initial Chat.

The process we follow for each piece of commissioned furniture, starts with a chat, we find it’s the best way to understand what it is you require.

Our goal, at this stage our goal is to become acquainted, whilst discussing your hopes for the commissioned piece of furniture. We will discuss the function, aesthetics, dimensions and desired location the furniture piece will inhabit upon completion. This can be done over the Telephone/ Teams call or if possible, in person.

  • Design & Materials.

Following our Initial chat, a visual sketch and technical drawing will be produced, this allows you the opportunity to see the proposed piece. Once the design is perfect we will move onto material choice and discuss finishing options.

  • Production & Timeline.

We aim to produce all commissioned furniture within 6-12 week of receipt of deposit, yet this will be discussed prior during the design stage and will depend on our current build schedule. We will always endeavour to work with you to meet deadlines, and all production times are made in good faith, and we will communicate during the build process with progress reports, we also encourage you to visit the workshop, to see the progress first hand.

  • Pricing.

Once the design and material palette is agreed upon, we will ask for a 50% deposit to secure a spot on our build schedule, with the remaining amount due prior to the delivery or collection of the commissioned piece.

  • Love It.

We hope you love and enjoy your new piece of furniture. It’s up to you now, to look after it and maintain it, but don’t worry we are only a call away and more than happy to help.
